Shangri La Hambantota

Excellent family holiday destination. Clean rooms, wonderfully curated lawns and hotel premises. Friendly and attentive staff. The hotel almost full on both the days we were there, but the staff made sure they gave us enough attention to take care of our needs. If you are travelling with kids, this is a great destination, with lots of activities to do. The kids play area, water park were favorites of our kids. Highly recommended.

Hi everyone. We have been here for 3 days now. This has been an amazing experience so far. The food is great. The staff were well trained. Bathrooms are tidy. Everyone greets you with a smile, which makes you feel amazing. Every morning, we ran into Maleesha. He was so polite and nice. He made us feel very welcomed. Kudos to him for chit chatting with our kids and making them feel like a million bucks. This was our second time back. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for a great experience.

From the moment we arrived until checkout, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was truly relaxing, and the staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming. A special thanks to the entire Shangri-La Hambantota team — not only did they provide exceptional service throughout our stay, but they also went above and beyond when my wife lost her necklace. They were kind enough to locate it and process started return it to us, which we greatly appreciate. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect getaway.
