Shangri La Hotel Suzhou Yuanqu

The room was thoroughly cleaned and very clean and comfortable. It was spacious enough to open two suitcases with ease. The service at the front desk and from the porters was also excellent. Above all, the housekeeping staff was wonderful. I would love to stay here again.

BEST HOTEL EVER. Rooms were huge, friendly staff and next to industrial park. Really clean and comfortbale. Also very cheap for its quality.

Luxurious comfort, room is spacious, so is the bathroom, with a huge bathtub. Great views with a full ceiling to ground glass. Excellent service too. Bed is firm but pillows are way too soft. They do offer a variety of pillow types you can order via their Mini Program in WeChat. Location is a little off from most attractions, being surrounded by office buildings instead. In general, a 5* stay in terms of service and room quality, except at the pool. I was shocked to hear that swim caps are a must to go into the pool. Something I've never experienced at any other hotel both in China and worldwide. If you didn't bring, they do have it for sale here at RMB30 each. The pool is also freezing cold given that it's an indoor pool. There's a hot jacuzzi and sauna steam room in the changing room that I felt was probably better than the pool itself. They also have facilities here including a huge gym, a yoga studio and what looked like a dance studio too.
