Shangri La Hotel The Marina Cairns

We have been coming to this beautiful hotel for four years with our outback spirit tours. The staff, the service (especially the manager, Alistair) are impeccable, professional, efficient, friendly and go out of their way. This is my favourite hotel and I have stayed in lots of hotels being a tour guide. I 100% recommend this 5 star beautiful hotel. I can’t wait to come back

From start to finish, the service at this hotel was truly excellent. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made our stay feel special. The restaurant was great. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety that were clearly made with quality ingredients. The entire hotel was spotless and well-organized. A calm and welcoming atmosphere. The view from our room was simply beautiful. A perfect relaxing getaway. This was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. Highly recommended!

Wow. What a great choice to stay in the hub of Cairns. Everything within walking distance, clean rooms great service and a fantastic eagles nest view of the Marina with all the offshore activities right on the doorstep. We opted for the breakfast and between 5-7 pm evening drinks and canapés package offer in the Horizon Club. Thank-you Federica for your very courteous and professional service. Food offering was buffet all you can eat and drink in the evening. Certainly saved walking outside the hotel and finding dining alternatives. Will certainly book again when visiting again.
