The sell point of this hotel is its location, location and location. Its Shangri-La branding also makes it shine above the rest. With Shangri-La you're almost guaranteed a good time for the premium price you pay. The rooms are comfortable and the Horizon Business Lounge view is great, breakfast buffet is varied with plenty of choices to satisfy the pickiest of eaters. One thing I wish the hotel had was a better equipped gym with an Olympic Lifting platform/Lifting cage like Shangri-La in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia, other than that it was a nice stay in Shangri-La Huhhot and pleasant trip.
I had opportunity to stay there for 2 nights. Overall it was good experience. Luxurious but seems to be quite old hotel with traditional design. Variety of foods in the reataurant
