Shangri La Qiantan Shanghai

This hotel is an unbelievable experience for the price. The best rooms I've ever stayed in, staff that is kind and accommodating, well equipped gym, pool and sauna, brilliant restaurants that serve food at prices that are more reasonable than you would think. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to this area.

Our stay at Shangri-La Qiantan was an absolute highlight of our travels—and hands down the best service we’ve ever received at any Shangri-La property. (And this was our third Shangri-La stay as Circle members!) We arrived with an upgrade voucher, but to our surprise and delight, Ruby generously upgraded us to the Horizon Club, giving us access to an expansive, luxurious room and all the incredible benefits that come with club-level access. The room was stunning—spacious, elegantly designed, and filled with thoughtful amenities that elevated our entire stay. We loved that the couch area became a bed for our 6 year old son and even had a fold out door so that he could go to sleep before us parents. There was room for our travel crib for our 1 year old in there too! They gave our kids adorable Shangri-La hats and fans. The Horizon Club Lounge was a true standout. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us by name and remembered our preferences after just one visit. The service was warm, personalized, and consistently excellent. It made every visit feel special and personal. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the lounge staff, was courteous, professional, and spoke excellent English, making communication seamless and the experience even more comfortable. Many of the staff learned our kids' names and never ceased to make them feel special. We were truly honored and overjoyed by the upgrade and the exceptional hospitality. This experience completely won us over and left a lasting impression. Thank you to the entire Shangri-La Qiantan team for making us feel so welcomed and valued—we can’t wait to return.

One of the best hotels to stay in if you are visiting for business reasons or sports events (because there really isn’t much of anything else that would bring you to travel to THIS specific location for.) The popular city central is upper north and prices of hotel rates are much higher. This is a simple place to house yourself and still affordable with a proper pamper.
