A very special thank you to Manager Dave Hj Bidul, who truly made our return stay exceptionally memorable. From generous complimentary room upgrades to extended check-out times for both us and our extended family who joined us this year, Dave went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. His kindness and attention made this trip extra meaningful, especially for our children who are leaving with hearts full of joy and beautiful memories. What keeps pulling us back to Rasa Sayang is more than just the stunning surroundings and incredible food — it’s the people. Our room service attendant—whose name I, unfortunately, can’t recall—was absolutely outstanding. We were staying in room 1525, and he was thoughtful, friendly, attentive, and a genuine pleasure to deal with throughout our stay. He consistently greeted us with a warm smile and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The hotel location is superb right by the beach and you can do all sorts of water activities from the third parties from the beach. The hotel is well maintained and covers a large expanse. Spa service was excellent as well. The breakfast buffet was good and has more Asian options. however, i felt the spread lacked a bit of variety and choices. It seemed that one of the shift managers during breakfast catered or assisted guests of certain races more than others on one day + this was a bit off-putting for me. Reception staff can do a better job with welcoming guests upon their arrival as they are our first contact with any hotel and their behavior sometimes set the tone of our stay. All other staff members were friendly and professional.
