Shangri La The Fort Manila

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Shangri-La The Fort—the experience was both relaxing and memorable. The hotel’s dining options exceeded our expectations, offering delicious meals that added to the warmth of our visit. From the elegant ambiance to the gracious hospitality, it was a delightful retreat for all ages.

I really want to share that my experience from the time I had walked in was amazing. The check in, room service, house keeping, restuarant, concierge, bell boys were all soo courteous and fantastic. I really do want to call out Sofia at the hotel restuarant who really was an amazing host and made sure I felt right at home within the hotel. Very courteous, warm and cheerful. The food was great too!! I also do want to call out Kenneth who was very helpful at the concierge. He gave me economical options to see the city which showed he really cares about the guest’s pocket. ☺️ Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

I stayed at the hotel with my girlfriend for five days, and overall, it was a good experience, though there were a few downsides. The location was very convenient, with plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, clothing shops, and other businesses just steps away. The hotel itself was beautiful and grand from the moment you walked in. The onsite restaurants and gym were excellent, and our room was spacious with a beautiful view. One feature I really liked was the built-in speaker in the bathroom connected to the tv, which made it easy to play music while getting ready, taking a shower, or just relaxing in the bathtub. They even set up a little surprise for my girlfriend when I told them we were celebrating her birthday, and she loved it. However, I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast buffet and the staff working in that area. While there was a decent variety of options, I felt that the quality of the food didn’t quite match the high price. The service was also a bit off—we had to remind the staff multiple times when we asked for something because they kept forgetting. The worst part was when they served us tea in a cup with lipstick stains on it. It was crazy to me that they didn’t notice that before bringing it to us. Overall, the hotel was great, but I feel the customer service and breakfast buffet could use some improvement.
