Shangrila Stay Bodhgaya

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The hotel is extremely clean, safe and the food is excellent (all home made from scratch). The manager and his team went above and beyond to make me feel like home. I had mentioned it was my birthday and they brought me a piece of cake on my last night. The tiny details are what matters. I was having dry skin problems and they went out specifically to buy me lotion without needing to be asked. The rooms are quiet, AC is good, beds are comfortable, shower water is hot. The manager has connections with anyone in the area for private tours, shopping, or any general inquiries. Above all, they are honest people and will not try to rip you off or charge you extra for anything. You can trust them.

My friend and I only went for 2 nights but wished we stayed longer! Santosh and his family took really good care of us from answering questions ahead of time to finding us a guide last minute when our original guide cancelled to sending fruit and refreshments to our room and giving us local recommendations and even suggestions for our travels onward. The hotel was extremely clean and had all the necessities and even a beautiful rooftop to watch the sun rise and set. If I am ever in Bhodgaya again I won’t hesitate to go back or recommend to friends and family. Santosh might be one of the kindest humans I’ve met in India. Thank you for everything!

Really nice hotel on the edge of Bodh Gaya. The host was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Clean, large rooms. Nice breakfast provided for 250ru. Easy walk into centre although we took an auto as it was so hot. Not too easy to find initially although the host tells me he has plans for a sign on the end of the road. Would definitely recommend this place. Loved our stay there.
