Decent airport hotel in Chengdu (taxi from airport should cost 20-50 yuan ~ distance is 3kms along the highway so walking is out of the equation). Booking ahead is highly advisable as hotel staff don't speak any English (but they are friendly and use online translators to get their point across so be patient!). Important points to note 1) Arriving late is fine (we arrived at 12:30am) 2) Get a room with an even number as these face away from the road 3) Airport shuttle is free but be sure to put your name down the night before you need it
Near to the airport with free shuttle bus service. But if you want to visit the city. It's not near to public transportation. Or simply I don't know the way.
