Sharazād Boutique Hotel

We had the most wonderful stay at this boutique hotel – without a doubt, 5 stars all around! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and incredibly well taken care of. The staff were simply amazing, with special mention to the General Manager and Operations Manager, who personally checked in with us every day to make sure everything was perfect. Their attentiveness and genuine care really stood out – always available and happy to help with any request or find personalized solutions. We originally planned to stay for just a few days before heading to another hotel… but we loved it here so much that we came back to spend the rest of our holiday. That says it all! The peace and quiet here is something truly special – it’s so calm, you can just hear the ocean breeze. The food was exceptional – always fresh, beautifully prepared, and served à la carte. There’s also direct beach access, with plenty of cozy spots to relax – from comfy sunbeds to shaded hammocks. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we appreciated the thoughtful mosquito service every evening, where staff would spray and prepare the mosquito nets for us – a lovely touch! We absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and personalized stay in Zanzibar. Already dreaming of coming back!

5 stars – A Peaceful Escape in Stunning Surroundings We really enjoyed our time at Sharazād Beach Resort – the surroundings are absolutely breathtaking and offer a true escape from the noise and stress of everyday life. The resort is beautifully integrated into its natural setting, with lush greenery, palm trees, and a pristine beach that’s just steps away. It feels peaceful and secluded, yet open and full of light – the kind of place where you instantly feel more relaxed just by being there. The outdoor spaces are what truly make this resort special. From quiet corners to unwind with a book, to hammocks swaying in the sea breeze, and the ever-changing colors of the ocean — it’s a paradise for anyone looking to rest, recharge, and reconnect with nature. The design and layout are thoughtful and calming, encouraging guests to slow down and enjoy the moment. Our room was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished, with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The housekeeping team did a great job keeping everything fresh throughout our 10 days. The staff were generally helpful and pleasant, and the management team in particular was extremely attentive and supportive, always ready to help with any requests or questions. Their presence made a big difference and added to the overall sense of being well taken care of. Thank you for hosting us — we leave feeling rested and inspired, and would absolutely return to soak up more of this beautiful and peaceful setting.

Our stay at Sharazad Boutique Hotel was absolutely magical. Located in such a peaceful and beautiful part of Zanzibar, this place felt like a true sanctuary. My mom and I spent two nights here and loved every moment. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary preferences, and every meal was not only delicious but made with such care and attention. One of the highlights was the evening yoga session, it was such a grounding and soulful experience. The ambiance, the food, the warmth of the team – everything made our stay incredibly special.
