Sharden Villa Boutique Hotel

A charming antique getaway! I stayed for three days and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. I especially loved Chef Marika’s homemade jam and yogurt! And Anna, the waitress, was so warm and welcoming every morning—it truly made each day start on a lovely note.

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The rooms smelled awful – like mold and chemicals – completely disgusting and unacceptable. The service was absolutely horrible. Nobody answers the phone, nobody replies to emails. It’s like they just don’t care once they have your money. We were clearly entitled to a refund due to the condition of the room and the lack of service, but they flat-out refused to give us our money back. No explanation, no apology, nothing. This place is a scam. The staff is unhelpful and unprofessional, and the management is completely unreachable. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this hotel. Total disgrace.

We had to cut our trip short and leave the hotel on October 17, 2024, due to the sudden passing of our grandmother. We spoke directly with the hotel manager over the phone, and he clearly agreed to refund the unused nights of our stay. However, once we returned home and began following up, the manager completely went back on his word. We made numerous phone calls to both the hotel and Booking.com, but we received no refund and no proper explanation. Our efforts were met with avoidance, vague responses, and eventually complete silence. To make matters worse, on the day of our departure — despite already checking out earlier than planned due to our flight — the hotel demanded 100 GEL to let us keep the room for just a few extra hours. When we refused, they suddenly agreed to lower it to 50 GEL. It was clear they were trying to take advantage of the situation. This is not just bad service — it’s a scam. The combination of false promises, refusal to issue a refund, and charging extra under pressure during a personal crisis is unacceptable and unethical. We felt deceived and exploited. We strongly warn others: think very carefully before booking this hotel.
