We had a comfortable stay here. The location is just a short walk away from some great restaurants. Best was the staff who were pro-active in anticipating your needs and stepping up to support. Special shout-out to Ulugbeg at the front desk who helped us with our delivered dinner!
Beautiful hotel, beautiful and comfortable rooms. AC and wifi worked great. One thing though - if you have little kids and stay here, make sure the windows are all shut throughout the room (bathroom, bedroom, sitting area). Our bathroom window was unlocked and it is a very tall window almost to the floor. It opens almost like a door and there is no balcony, nothing there to keep a child from falling out.
Great hotel within walking g distance of central park but a bit further away from all the sightseeing in Samarkand though. Staff was super friendly both at reception and every morning at breakfast. The buffet was great and they had good coffee too. The room was nice but twin beds were pretty small tbh. Apart from that, the bathroom was really modern and huge and we had a comfortable stay at Shaxzoda.
