Great hotel. According to my travel agent - the best in Tibet. And this may be true. I'm no easy customer, but the staff was really friendly and tried to accomodate me in every way possible. Fantastic breakfast buffet with local, asean and western cuisine. Two amazing tibetan restaurants, better than all the others I've been to on my trip. Oxygen machine in each room - it was a life saver for me on my first evening. And a plushie yak for my little daughter as a present. Thank you very much! My praises and recomendations to everyone!
Though it seems a bit old, the soft and hardware are in good conditions. Each room equip with Oxygen respirator which not all hotel in Lasha have them. Services are excellent, can easily arrange free shuttle car to nearby attractions, I personally recommend the hotel for it the money worths.
The english name of the hotel may be a bit misleading (to non Mandarin speakers), the pinyin should be XueLong Zhuangyuan (Snow Dragon Manor). It is a nice 4 storey hotel - Tibetan style with lots of Tibetan art decor spread over a large area next to Lhasa River. Close to some shops (just round the corner)
