Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Golden Bay

Great hotel at convenient location next to the beachside and outlet! Wonderful hospitality from staff -Eric, Rebecca and Lene Wai, they also gave us recommendations on what to do in the neighbourhood! Will definitely come back for next stay!

It’s a beautiful hotel with friendly employees especially yuvi was best and she helped us out with almost everything and she’s fluent with her English which made our stay really comfortable

I stayed at this Hotel in April 2025, and while the stay was comfortable and the room was adequate. The breakfast include (at a price) was very substandard, It was as if someone had tried to make a copy of a standard Marriott Brand breakfast buffet, but had no idea how to do that with the local ingredients. Staff levels were inadequate and the food constantly ran out. There were not enough places for the number of guests and this was in the off season. Now for the really disappointing part. There was almost no English language skills available. For a Marriott branded hotel this was a big surprise. I cut my stay short by one day, cancelling within the time window required by the hotel and have not, to this point, August 2025 received a refund despite repeated email and wechat conversations with the hotel staff and Marriott Bonvoy customer service. The latest excuse was: "they don't have funds to refund to my Marriott Branded AMEX" which was, however, how I paid for the room. Stay away from this hotel it is NOT up to Marriott Standards ... just using the brand.
