Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the oasis in a very busy city. Staff were outstanding in every area. Rooms are a bit dated, but very well maintained, spotless and very comfortable. Gym facilities are top of the line and pool is a fantastic space with great food and drinks. Only minor complaint is the food options in the lounge are limited. We appreciated the club level room but club amenity wasn’t worth it. We did try the bar and had a nice stay as well as the Italian restaurant which was very good. Laundry service was prompt and did a good job. Overall a 5 star experience from top to bottom.

It was my first ever stay at the Sheraton and I had high expectations which were not met. The rooms are very dated. Limescale in the bathtub and the conditioner in the shower was not topped up. Limited amenities provided. Old fashioned carpet. Blackout curtains did not do the job and let a lot of light in. The service was not the best- on checking out I informed the receptionist that I had left my luggage in my room (clearly for assistance carrying them down) but he said that he would have to reactivate my key card for me to go and collect my things…. Before sending a member of staff to assist me but still had to go up with him.. this is not what I would expect from a 5* service. I tried the pool areas for short amounts of time and was impressed by the rooftop pool especially. However, again I didn’t receive a 5* service. Overall for the money paid I was extremely underwhelmed. Value for money was poor. I will not be returning to this hotel or any Sheraton hotel. If you are searching for a 5* hotel in Amman I would recommend any of the nearby 5* hotels in the fifth circle!
