Sheraton Belitung Resort

Wonderful place to spend relaxing days. We stayed for 3 nights in the garden view king bed room, which has a modern, minimalist room design. The room was clean and spacious, and all necessities were available. The private beach is gorgeous and very nice for swimming. However, as it's facing the sun the whole day, it was hard to find a place in the shade. The very few shade spots directly at the beach provided by the hotel were typically occupied. So we were hanging out often at the pool or the restaurant just behind the beach. Also it's recommended to bring bug spray (for whole Belitung). The included breakfast was rich and the resort restaurant was solid, prices were alright (~ 200k/person). Note that it's hard to leave the resort without car or scooter as it's a closed private property. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back.

I had the most unforgettable stay at Sheraton Belitung – it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and genuine hospitality of the staff made us feel instantly at home. Every single team member was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The snorkeling around the nearby islands was an absolute highlight. The hotel helped arrange a snorkeling trip where we saw vibrant coral reefs and colorful tropical fish ! The food at the resort was another standout. Every meal was a delight whether we were enjoying a rich Indonesian dish or international cuisine, everything was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A very special thank you to Levii, whose warmth and attention made us feel truly at home. We also want to thank every single staff member who went above and beyond for us we truly made friends during our stay. Their smiles, conversations, and care are what made this experience unforgettable. We’re already missing the peace and beauty of Belitung, and we’re absolutely certain: we will be back. Nice place, nice swimming pool. The beach is very nice, but you cannot swim when is low tide. Very good restaurant. You need driver or to rent a car, if you want to go to the town (~30km) or to see around.
