We stayed for four nights over the New year. Had a super holiday. Big rooms, nice decor and bath to die for - nice and large with piping hot water. Shampoo, coffee, towels all replenished daily and room nicely cleaned. Large lobby with free internet and computers in lobby, which is handy. Pool, sauna and gym good. Pool a little cold at first, but good temp to swim. One time only two of us in, the next day I got out when it got busy. Towels provided in pool. Sauna big enough for five really, but one in ladies - I imagine the men get one too? The hotel is a great location - found it easily when we hopped off the metro and we walked everywhere from here. City 2 shops are fab and supermarket useful just across the road. Room has a fridge, which is handy too.
Friendly staff, nice reception and welcoming bar. The pool is a bonus and offers a good view. The rooms are large, but in need of an update - some aspects of the room like the desk, bedside drawers and headrest look 40 years old. Location good.
The room we stayed in was generously sized and we'll maintained. It was quite warm and the air-conditioning was not up to the task of cooling the room but they were quick to bring a fan when asked. The fridge also was not able to cool things down.
