Excellent in all respects. Lovely room, great restaurants, friendly and helpful staff. Good location and many rooms with Nile view. If you are not a frequent traveller, and have the budget, I would recommend the airport pickup. They meet you before passport control and smooth your arrival.
Welcoming staff! Super helpful, nice view to the nile and great food and lounge staff and services! Would like to recognize Marina for taking the extra step to help make the visit as smooth as possible! This is my 3rd visit this year as they are making it feel like home!
I’m currently staying at Sheraton Hotel, in the old Sheraton building, and will be here for more than two weeks — so I’ve had plenty of time to get a real sense of the experience. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, and the housekeeping team does an excellent job. The staff are professional, polite, and always respectful. A big plus is the bellman service — anything you order gets delivered right to your room, which is extremely convenient. Also, tipping is optional and never pushed, which I really appreciated. The hotel offers a variety of facilities that make long stays more comfortable: there are two restaurants (Japanese and Italian cuisines), a Starbucks and coffee area, a small convenience shop, an alcohol shop, and even a salon. Everything you might need is right there. However, not everything was perfect. Service can be quite slow, and the dining experience outside of breakfast was disappointing — the food wasn’t flavorful, and napkins were missing during regular dining room service, which doesn’t reflect the standard you’d expect. On a brighter note, the breakfast buffet is excellent, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty options that really stand out. Overall, it’s a mixed experience so far — with strong points, especially for a long stay, but also a few areas that clearly need improvement.
