Sheraton Carlton Nuernberg

We visit Nuremberg often to visit family. This is our favorite place to stay for numerous reasons. The hotel is well located - less than 5 minute walk from the Nuremberg train station. However, it is also located just outside the walls of the Old City - so very easy and close to get to the city center. Also, the service is excellent at this hotel - the staff is helpful and they put effort into trying to make our stay excellent. The rooms are also very quiet - thick walls keep sound out. Breakfast is very good and well stocked. Great breakfast service, especially from Cookie and the woman at the omelette station. There is even lounge to work that has drinks and snacks. On the 9th floor is a pool and a hot tub - it's a small pool, but still great to cool off after a hot day. All in all a great choice for Nuremberg and can recommend.

The lobby radiates quiet elegance without ever feeling stuffy. My room was spacious and spotless, featuring blackout curtains and a firm bed—travel perfection right there. The indoor pool and rooftop sauna spa overlooking Nuremberg’s rooftops were absolute highlights of my stay. Staff across the board were warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care—felt less like a hotel and more like a welcome stay with friends. Breakfast buffet had fresh breads, smoky bacon, vegan options, and a live egg station to keep the crowd happy. Rates are on the higher side for Nürnberg, but the comfort, convenience, and spa experience made it worth every penny.
