I had an unforgettable stay at Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort in 2023. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed with genuine hospitality and thoughtful service. The beachfront location offered stunning ocean views, and the room was spotless, with a cozy bed and a balcony that quickly became my favorite place to relax and enjoy the sea breeze. The food was exceptional—from the varied breakfast buffet to the beautifully prepared dinner options, every meal exceeded my expectations. I also enjoyed spending time at the pool and private beach. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and luxurious, making it a perfect getaway for rest and relaxation. I would gladly return and highly recommend Sheraton Mactan to anyone visiting Cebu.
Very good resort. Decent private beach during high tides. Good for snorkeling. We did see some poisonous sea snakes as well. Guess they are generally harmless unless you poke them. The crowd was good, looks like it is a favorite place amongst Koreans The breakfast was excellent. Don’t miss to try their local Taa Ho! We had a great time at this place. Definitely we will come back again!
I have stayed at many Marriott properties around the world, but unfortunately this was the worst experience I’ve ever had under the Marriott name. • My confirmed government rate was not honored, even though Marriott’s own terms require confirmed reservations to be upheld. The U.S.-only ID restriction was hidden in the fine print and not disclosed in my booking confirmation. • Despite sending emails and follow-ups to management, I received no reply or acknowledgment. As a loyal Marriott guest, this was especially disappointing. Because of these issues, my family and I felt uncomfortable staying any longer. For the first time ever, we checked out of a Marriott and moved to another hotel. I never imagined I would feel ignored at a Marriott property, but this experience showed a serious lack of transparency, service, and respect for guests. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves for future guests
