Sheraton Dallas Hotel by the Galleria

I stayed for four days on a business trip and found the room to be clean, spacious and well equipped. The air conditioning was super cold as I like it. I had room service delivered each night as I had a lot of work to do on my laptop and they were speedy and the food was good. I would not recommend the pasta but the salmon was yummy. On my second night my hot water stopped working, I called the service desk and maintenance was in there literally in less than 10 minutes. He said he had to reset the water heater and in no time at all I had steamy hot water again. It is nice to know that if there is an issue they were quick to respond. My one and only issue is that I left a pair of shoes in the room and have now called twice to lost and found and left two voicemails and have not had anyone reach back out to me. This is very disappointing as I stated I truly enjoyed my stay.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel by the Galleria, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was convenient. However, there were a few things that took away from what could have been a great stay. One of those things was that the ice machine on my floor wasn’t working, and there was a sign directing guests to the next floor. Unfortunately, that machine was broken too. I ended up on a mini scavenger hunt just to find a floor where the ice machine actually worked. Despite this inconvenience, the rest of the stay was pleasant. I just hope to see more consistency in guest service and attention to maintenance details during future visits.

Brian, the front desk rep, clearly thought the phone was a toy. Zero professionalism, zero protocol. Instead of providing assistance or connecting me to security, he decided to say I’m “no longer allowed at the property.” No incident report. No explanation. Just audacity and a weak attempt at control. Let’s be clear: I wasn’t calling for comfort. I was calling to log accountability. But this place doesn’t run on policy — it runs on ego. Security? Absent. Twice. Documentation? Nonexistent. Professionalism? Left the lobby months ago. If you’re looking for a hotel that handles guests like a hostage negotiation and retaliates when you ask for answers — this is it. Otherwise, spend your money somewhere that hires adults, not gatekeeping kids with front desk badges and no training. Sheraton, you don’t need a remodel.
