Sheraton Flowood The Refuge Hotel & Conference Center

This was our second time staying here, we came to visit family for the weekend. Staff was super friendly and hlepful as always. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was so soft and cozy, we had the best sleep we've had in weeks. We were able to enjoy the pool and lazy river this time, which were also very clean and a great time. On Sunday we had lunch in the lobby for the mothers day banquet, it was so delicious and worth every penny; my favorite was the coconuts cake they served. The Cafe in the lobby is super convenient for either a late night snack or an early morning coffee. We can't wait to come again.

This hotel's lobby is seriously impressive, with tons of comfy seating. The rooms are spacious and the beds are super plush, perfect for a good night's sleep. The pool area is a great spot to relax, especially with that convenient snack bar. Breakfast was a real treat, with plenty of delicious options. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

I booked a room two months in advance, only to find that it was canceled once I arrived. They explained that they change the reservation before you actually arrive to check in, but they never informed me of this change. I asked if they could reverse the reservation, but they refused, stating that I would have to rebook myself. When I attempted to rebook, I was only able to choose one of the two nights I had planned to stay. Very disappointing after a long drive anticipating on having a fun relaxing weekend!
