Excellent Business Stay at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk I'm here on a business trip, and the Sheraton Riverwalk has exceeded my expectations. From check-in to housekeeping, the staff is warm, welcoming, and always one step ahead in anticipating guest needs. The location is perfect, right on the riverwalk with beautiful views and easy access to downtown. The rooms are clean, spacious, and great for both work and rest. Whether you're here for business or vacation, the hospitality stands out. Highly recommend for a smooth, comfortable stay in the heart of Chicago.
This location is hard to beat: we had a river view room on floor 15 overlooking the river walk path (also a peek at the lake). Being close to downtown was great for walking around and exploring, and thankfully was not overly noisy at night (I am a light sleeper). Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. When reserving the room, I did have to make a special request for a mini-fridge. Bathroom was simple & standard; nothing fancy but did the job. No vent\fan in the bathroom though which was annoying. Check in\out process was easy and quick; both ladies at the desk were polite and efficient. We drove our vehicle and had to pay $70\day to park in an underground lot as the hotel did not offer valet service or private parking.
Beautiful building. The lobby is very comfortable with plenty of chairs to sit in while you wait for a taxi. I loved the views of the Navy Pier from my room's windows. I was a bit disappointed by the room's refrigerator not working properly and being dirty. My coworker did not even have a refrigerator in her room. The front desk told us that they were at full capacity and had no refrigerators available for us. The service staff was so friendly and attentive. I was very grateful to the doorman who took the time to alert us that it was rush hour and would take longer to get to the airport. He quickly assisted us in finding a taxi. He saved us from possibly missing our flight.
