The Sheraton Grand Seattle exceeded all expectations. Even with Morgan Wallen in town for two sold-out shows, the staff handled everything flawlessly. They quickly took care of our bags, let us valet even after checkout, and made us feel taken care of every step of the way. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfy, and the ambiance of the hotel was top-notch. Despite how busy the city was, the service remained outstanding. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!
The Sheraton Grand is a very conveniently located hotel in downtown Seattle—walking distance to Pike Place, shopping, and tons of restaurants. It’s a huge property, and if you can, request a room in the main tower, as those elevators tend to be less congested during peak times. The rooms are comfortable but starting to show signs of wear and could benefit from a refresh. The staff was consistently kind and helpful, though it’s clear they’re stretched thin and working incredibly hard. A major downside: the lounge experience was disappointing. Both morning and evening sessions were completely overcrowded, making it nearly impossible to find a seat. Food disappeared the moment it was restocked, with guests piling plates high and hoarding drinks and snacks. I literally watched someone fill a beach bag with eight bottles of water and multiple chip bags. Two overworked staff members did their best, but it was an absolute zoo. Coffee lines in the morning were long and the machines kept breaking down under the demand. Until they either staff the lounge better or limit access, I wouldn’t recommend paying extra for it. The rest of the hotel is solid, but the lounge needs serious attention.
Great hotel with lots of dining options! The lobby has lots of seating areas and is very well appointed. The hotel gym was amazing. There were a lot of on site dining options and even a Starbucks. The breakfast buffet at Alder and Ash was amazing. Both the king and queen rooms had lots of space and additional seating. The one issue was the king room had a very small bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The one issue was the windows in all 3 rooms we had were all very dirty, blocking views of the city, but with this being said we were on a very high floor. The staff was all very nice and helpful. In addition, the location is super close to a lot of restaurants and the Seattle convention center. Pike place market is a little bit further of a walk, but it is still very close!
