Overall it was an okay stay. First and last time staying here after arriving home they charged my card for the night stay I had already prepaid and was confirmed at my check in that I had already paid and charge would only be for incidentals. I call them they admit it was a system error , blah blah blah I call BS because they later asked me to email them my ID and my bank statements showing they charged me like make that make sense... You know you charged me in error but still need access to my sensitive info just to reverse a transaction ? Never in my life have I had to do that and I've been overcharged my hotels many many times before. I'm starting to use only AirBnb now way better experience

All in all a reasonable hotel but not one of the best Sheraton I have stayed at. Breakfast was fairly limited as a Marriot member the comp breakfast was not the best I have had and the service from the staff was non existent. Room was great and I was upgraded to a suite which was a great touch. Slightly away from the centre of Guadalajara but easy to grab a taxi on Uber whenever needed.

I was overcharged while traveling for work. At check out, the front desk employee made it seem like the refund would be automatic, back to card on file, but that was not the case. Days later I received an email requesting I email them photos of my ID and credit card or bank account and routing number. This information would be sent to a third-party accounting company to process the refund. I did not provide the requested photos and information for obvious security reasons. I called Marriott customer service and they said I would not be able to receive a refund unless I sent my personal information via unsecured email. It's been almost two months and no one has been able to provide a refund to the original credit card.
