Sheraton Guangzhou Nansha Hotel

Spent a week here, while I was visiting my daughter, what a beautiful hotel, It's spotlessly clean and the staff are amazing, it's in a fairly quiet part of the city, but still plenty going on.

Business trip in Foshan, Jiangmen and GZ. This luxury hotel is near Foshan and Jiangmen, you don't need to stay in the city, traffic is super jam. You can go to Foshan about 1 hr. and Jiangmen also less than 1hr. We stayed 2 times in this period. First we booked deluxe rooms and the concierge forgot to upgrade room for me (Marriotand Sheraton now in the same group, you can use Marriott member benefits with Sheraton group also) so second time my room was upgraded to be one more step. The rooms are new, clean and good conditions. The breakfast is OK same as other luxury hotels but a little slow to serve for order. We didn't use executive lounge because of coming back so late every night.

My agent has booked this hotel and has an e-voucher, but the hotel staff couldn't find my name and had to wait an hour (at 12 midnight). After the agent rebooked, I had to pay a deposit that exceeded the hotel's nightly rate. This doesn't make sense. Is it because I'm a foreigner and wear a hijab? I can't find a reason. I've been to several hotels in China and the deposit doesn't exceed the hotel's nightly rate. This is strange and I don't recommend this place.
