Sheraton Guilin Hotel

We stayed couple of nights. Hotell is very well located. Staff were friendly, room clean and good size. Everything was very nice. I didn't like crowds and noise late on Friday night due to some exhibitions on Saturday, but likely we did leave that morning after breakfast.

It’s rated at 5star in China and website, it’s at good location. Room is spacious and comfy - finally got to stay on an international chain. Great spread of international buffet breakfast with a twist of local cuisines.

A dated hotel with an unassuming front but on entering, greeted by an impressive, enormous atrium.  Rooms were clean but small. The mattress could well do with an upgrade. It was one of the softest ones we came across in China.  We booked a river view room and were rewarded with a good view of sunrise each morning and the opera house across the river. The hotel was very well located, walking distance to most city attractions. All staff were friendly and helpful. I strongly advise travellers not to book a room with club lounge access, save yourself some money.  It was the worst club lounges we had been to, and it had the worst lounge food ever.  This was a pity because the lounge actually commanded good views.
