Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort

A surprise 40 th Anniversary trip to Kauai from my husband. He planned everything including where we stayed and it was amazing!! Everything was fantastic! The room was excellent, clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable. The staff were excellent! Knowledgeable, extremely friendly, helpful and always professional! We had an early checkout with a very late flight on the same day. We had booked a charter for a snorkeling tour with Blue Dolphin Charters ( I highly recommend) in the morning and we inquired about a late check out so we could freshen up before our late night flight. Of course we can do that, they said. Did you also know we have a hospitality room? We had 45 minutes to freshen up later that day, didn’t cost us anything!! Restaurants right there, no need to leave to eat. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. Poolside service from the restaurants. We did not travel with any children but they had games, a kids pool, activities! I definitely recommend a stay here!

The staff has been so welcoming and friendly. They have games setup outside everyday as well as a volleyball net. The beach has been great. There are caution signs up so you're aware when going out into the ocean. Beautiful views and daily activities are available, I highly recommend the lei making. It was a fun experience to make and learn about the meaning behind them.

Overall our stay at the Sheraton was pleasant. The staff was friendly and the location of the hotel is convenient to local shopping area. The pool is well maintained. The beach is mainly rock so swimming should be done with caution. They have bike rentals for free up to 3 hours and a nice game room by the pool. My only complaint is that the hotel hallway had a funky order. The room wasn't terrible of an order.
