Great experience and the best staff - ready to service: specially the front desk and conciergie duty staff- immediatelly book last minute train ticket using personal accounts- even run to near by travel agency to issue it. Writing this review is the least thing i can do to say thanks. Keep working same way. Many thanks again.
As a Titanium Elite, I was originally not upgraded. Subsequently they upgraded to a higher floor room. Upon check in we checked and they did upgrade to the suite. Late check out was provided though we did not use as we left at 8am. Breakfast food choices didn't change for all 3 days. Hotel provides lounge. Food was just OK, drinks selection were not great. Bath amenities were mediocre - the standard soap used by Sheraton. Staffs are generally polite but not up to hotelier standards. I got a shock when they refused to book restaurant for me and said because it is located in another hotel. Like huh? Eventually I spoke to the duty manager and he understood the concern (no local number to call) and made the booking. Lift setup is very weird, you need to type your floor number and tap, then run to the allocated elevator. What an old school thing. Location is very good - in between 2 metro stations. Hotel is supposed to be non-smoking but there are people who smokes. Hotel does nothing about it and guest continues to smoke within corridor area. I feel like this Sheraton is totally not Marriott standards at all - from service to guests smoking in corridor. Honestly if you have more budget, pick another hotel. This is probably worse than Four Points standards.
Avoid at all costs. The location is great but everything else is not. Thin walls, moldy showers, and house flies in the room. Talk about Marriott quality control. The main reason for 2 stars is because housekeeping lost my pajamas. I’m mostly upset at how they handled the entire situation. I had them come in the room and look through all my belongings and turn apart the entire room. When the staff couldn’t find the clothes either, she accused me of lying and making a scene. I was so shocked that this is their logical next step at problem solving. I have platinum status and have stayed over 400 nights across Marriott hotels and never once have I been straight up called a liar. Management was super annoying to deal with as well. Ultimately the paid me half the value of my clothes. They said the reason was to “make me feel better”, not because it is their fault. What? Not only do I not have my pajamas, but also don’t have enough to replace them. I am reconsidering whether I want to stay at Marriotts in the future
