The overall room was beautifully decorated, and I was given a nice room on the 27th floor. However, the view faced a construction site. The room had a small dining table perfect for tea and a comfortable couch for relaxation. The amenities were excellent, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Unfortunately, I was disturbed twice in the middle of the night by a room call and a knock on my door, asking me to lower my noise level—even though I was already in bed. It seems the soundproofing could have been better, as the noise likely came from another room. Additionally, I could hear loud footsteps from the floor above while trying to sleep, making me wonder if someone was having a late-night conference call. However, I can smell the smoking smell strongly at night in my room!! On a positive note, the breakfast spread was decent, and there were plenty of seats available.

Location quite far from city but comfortable stay. Breakfast was not great though.

When I arrived reception keep talking in Chinese they assume I can speak Chinese when they “cannot find the booking” in their system they asked me to contact online booking agent. International call is expensive they didn’t want to help or give alternative solution the whole time they just give blind eyes to us. After 20 min there’s a lot of customers check in they find this situation embarrassing. They did not try to contact their booking department because it is non office hours, so-well protecting their booking staff and want them have a good work life balance , even we have provide receipt from the agent and travel document , they decide to take a thousand dollars as a deposit. Upon further contact with our agent the booking was well listed in the system and even they have trouble to contact the hotel. This whole scenario is something I did not expect from the Marriott group. After a long negotiation, we accepted to make the deposit. When reaching the room , they contacted us and ask in Chinese to inform the room rate. Even they have an English speaking staff they are reluctant to take initiative and explain the details to me. I am very disappointed in Marriott service. This make me trip end in a bad note.
