Sheraton Miami Airport & Executive Meeting Center

All in all a decent stay and the members lounge was great with snacks, beverages and breakfast. The shuttle Instructions were not accurate as they describe going to end of crosswalk and picking up at several stop numbers every 15 min, but the shuttle comes to the main curb at passenger drop off. And I waited nearly 30 minutes before seeing the shuttle. Check in had a pretty long line and no member line was open at the time. The room was fairly basic and somewhat dated for the price but seemed clean and had what was needed. One suggestion would be to offer adult beverages in the member lounge at least for a period of time such as happy hour to keep people in the lounge and make it more of a place to relax.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport, which was perfect if you have meetings in the area. We used the business conference room, which met our needs well. The valet service was prompt every time, and the staff overall provided excellent service. The hotel catering was also a highlight—delicious and well-prepared. However, I had to dock a few stars because my room smelled like smoke, and the hallways had the same issue. Additionally, the rooms felt a bit outdated and could use some renovation.

Would I stay here again? No way. Booked the Sheraton Miami Airport as we had a flight early the next day after a family vacation and I had instant regret. While the location is great (super close to airport) and the staff was super friendly, those were the only positives. The elevators were broken so had to take the service elevator through the staff quarters or the stairs - both not great options. If that wasn't bad enough the rooms were well, not great. The beds felt like they were from the early 90's; the shower tub is always a bummer; and it simply felt dirty and unkept. Let's just say it is one of those sleep above the covers and hope for the best. I would not stay here again and would opt for the Marriott down the street.
