Sheraton Miramar Hotel & Convention Center

Nice hotel with awesome views of the ocean. Little more than a short walk to the lively part of town. Breakfast spread was good and staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms and hallways were a little musty but it’s to be expected for a beach front hotel. Definitely one of the better hotels to stay at in this area.

Spa is good but no shoes allowed.restaurant service and outdoor is good. Beautiful water front view. Normal size rooms but has old smell washed carpet. Front desk lack of skill and experience. Bar service was with attitude. Do not clean room unless you specify. No turndown. USB outlet burned my power bank trough. My room smelled burning plastic I was sure it would set firearm. It was luck I didn't put my phone on charge and didn't live the room yet. I opened all doors to get smell out. There were more upset moments I don't want to mention.

I’m a Marriott Bonvoy fan, I have gold status and usually really appreciate the customer service and treatment I get at MB properties…. This hotel was another story. I booked on the app for 2 people, but we ended up travelling with another couple and wanted to stay in the same room. The room had 2 double beds, and this place would NOT ALLOW 4 people in one room. This is the most ridiculous policy I’ve ever heard of. I can understand charging a fee for extra people in the room, but to point blank not allow it is crazy. I was given all sorts of silly reasons why… one being the noise, another being the room isn’t big enough. We were forced to book another room… to which we had the adjoining room and just opened the door to make one larger room anyways. Do better Sheraton Miramar. This was no way to treat a loyal customer.
