Sheraton Myrtle Beach

Room was great. Clean room. Comfy bed. The shower was great. We went to the beach so the water pressure combined with two shower heads was great for rinsing sand off and washing my hair. I’m pretty sure the body wash in the shampoo bottle though but the conditioner was decent. As for view and location.. view sucked be location wasn’t too far from things but don’t get it twisted, in this heat walking to the beach isn’t practical imo. It’s walking distance but not super close. In the fall or spring I’d say the location is good to walk wherever you need to go. But it’s a short drive from almost everything so it’s still a great location.

We were given the handicap room because we scheduled a room with a view, and though it was larger (bathroom and all), the bed was HORRIBLE! There was no boosting for the mattress and the mattress sunk in the center. My husband is 6'5, 250lbs and he DEFINITELY can't handle not having a stable bed. Not to mention, it was appalling that they'd have disabled people sleeping on a bed like that. I will say, however, when my husband went downstairs at 10:30pm and made mention of how uncomfortable we were, management obliged and quickly gave us a new room w/o hesitation.

The hotel itself was amazing. From having a restaurant, coffee bistro, and a bar on-site. The foyer was very welcoming, and the staff was beyond friendly. They put us on the 8th floor which the apparently just renovated. The room very spacious and the bathroom looked spectacular. Our issue that prevented me from giving it 5 stars was the AC did not work. The room was hot making sleeping on that amazing comfortable bed a struggle. If the AC worked properly I wouldn't hesitate to have given this hotel 10 stars because of the location, amenities, and the friendly staff.
