We stayed here during Essence Fest, and the experience was incredible! The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were able to check in early at 10:30 a.m., which we really appreciated after traveling. Debbi was absolutely amazing. Her hospitality stood out from the moment we arrived. On Friday evening, the hotel hosted a welcome reception for elite members, and Debbi even welcomed my two guests to join. It was such a warm and generous gesture. The atmosphere all weekend was lively and fun, with a DJ keeping the energy up throughout. There was never a dull moment! I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting New Orleans, especially during a big event like Essence Fest. And when you go, definitely ask for Debbi. She’s the best!
Hello Travelers, I attended a beautiful destination wedding at Sheraton New Orleans on a Friday and was very impressed with the whole event/cocktail hour and reception. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 and the decor 10/10 chefs kiss. Also the views were breathtaking as well from my room. On a another note, the lodging was the downfall of my stay. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I had dirty bedding and a visitor I didn't bring with me. Upon alerting the front desk I felt the manager wasn't really empathetic to my experience. He did offer an apology and comp my meal at the Pelican bar and after this I was scared to sleep. Since it is a older hotel bugs sometimes may appear. But my stay for lodging was ruined by this joker looking like he wanted to fly back with me. Sadly, the staff was rude in the pelican bar and a young lady upon my check out on Sunday morning. The best staff encountered was upon check-in as a Marriott Bonvoy Member and the daily text messages to check on me for the first 2 days than stopped. I have stayed at this property in 2018 and my experience was drastically different so I'm 😔. I will be coming back to this great city however wont be staying here.
I was at this hotel for my first visit to Louisiana and everything was fine until the second day. A letter was waiting on the table stating that I owe 347.00 and I didn’t know why because I had paid in full at my time of arrival so I had to go stand in line to the information desk to say yes that right I explained that I paid but he insisted that the bill was due upon departure now I’m reeling and go back to the room to get my sister go back to back stand in line to talk to someone else and everything was explain and I did not owe any money so after all that my sister and I decided to use the ($15) credit for two drinks and we pay the difference one for me one for her mind you this is the first time as well using the credit and the hell started all over again there was and still is a 100 Dollar hold on my cash app card to this day We checked out 07/13/2025 I’ve called and email about this matter To everyone using cash app don’t Ever Ever Ever use it here Still waiting for the account to be closed from last MONTH There was no reason to charge for the two drinks because I paid in CASH so now I got the run around to call cash app and give them a release number they can look at the camera footage and see that I paid in cash plus tipped I talk to reps and a manager but still 100 dollars pending
