A very comfortable resort with helpful, professional staff. They have multilingual staff who can speak Chinese, Korean, and English. One thing to note is that this resort is very popular with families with young children / toddlers - they are everywhere. If this is not your thing or you are on your honeymoon, you may want to consider this. There is parking onsite, as of the date of this review (10 June 2025), they change 1,000 Yen per night up to a maximum of 3,000 Yen. Although it is a bit of a pity that they no longer offer complimentary parking to guests, this rate is still reasonable. There is a Lawson convenience store just outside the hotel entrance, for guests needing additional amenities. The hotel breakfast and dinner buffet were quite impressive and delicious. If you just wanted to laze around in the resort you could enjoy the food and drinks here.
We just finished our stay here and the staff were lovely but that’s about as far as it goes. I’ve never stayed at a resort where every little thing is an additional charge, if you want to rent a towel, if you want to use the sun beds and umbrellas on the beach, if you want to use the sauna, if you want to use the indoor pool etc, all an additional charge. It was crazy! The hotel isn’t of Marriott standard and could use an upgrade. We’d booked an oceanview room however the first room we were given you couldn’t see the ocean at all so asked to change rooms. I think there are certainly things that can be changed to make this hotel a little more inviting
Look at the bad reviews and they are true. Everything needed a pass (extra fee). Outdoor pool closes at 5:30! It is not even sunset time yet. Staffs are great but the facilities is the worst. I hold a Marriott gold member and this is by far the worst facility. Staffs are great but the facility and the way business ran is bad. I toke the chance to stay here and totally regretted.
