Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Waikiki Beach

Our second year here and it’s as great as it was the first time. Pros: close to everything! Walking distance to all the amazing restaurants, across from Waikiki beach (!!!), some rooms are upgraded (they are beautiful), great game room area where you can bring your own snacks or bring dinner and play games (pool, shuffle board, table tennis, foosball), the staff is very friendly, nice (small) pool area, and chairs you can rent to take to the beach. Cons: the rooms are small, as to be expected in Waikiki, the elevators are slow (there are 27 floors and we often used the service elevators for faster access:)), the parking and resort fee add up to a lot per day (as is the case in all of Waikiki). Overall, love the hotel and plan on coming back again

We stayed 2 nights here. We intended to stay one night here but we booked the hotel from the Mainland and we flew in from Japan. We hadn't considered the International Date Line and we needed to add another night. That was no problem! Lovely little hotel with a great layout. Two elevators were out, so it was really crowded every trip. The rooms are in the process of being upgraded but don't get all excited about that. They are still fundamentally a 1960s ish room. Laundry is available but it is $6 a load to wash and $6 to dry! The staff in wonderful. The nightly singer by the pool is great. The food at the bar is very good. The pool does close at 7pm though.

Nice hotel and nice updated room. All of the staff were very friendly. The elevator situation to get around the tower is super annoying. Had to pass on several elevators because they were full all of the time. Didn't help that 1 of the 4 elevators were down. Location is nice to all of the Waikiki shopping and food. Always found a spot in the parking garage so that was nice. Would recommend this hotel.
