Exceeded expectations. With gold membership we received a room upgrade to a large, modern room on the top floor with a view across the city, access to the club lounge, free breakfast and afternoon tea (merienda). For tea we had sandwich, fruit salad and a brownie. Breakfast was decent. The pool looked nice although we didn't use it. The gym was a good size with a variety of equipment. We initially parked on the street but moved to one of the free spots on the hotel forecourt. All good.

recently stayed at the Sheraton Salta Hotel during a work trip to Argentina and had an exceptional experience. Unfortunately, I lost my wallet in a taxi provided by the hotel, which could have turned into a major issue. However, Sebastian at the reception went above and beyond to help. He took it upon himself to track down the wallet and ensured it was delivered back to me. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly remarkable. The hotel staff’s commitment to making guests feel valued and cared for is unmatched. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays!

I saw many great reviews for this property before booking, but I was a bit surprised upon arrival. The property is a bit dilapidated, and the showers could use some work. The shower head in our room released water more like a water hose than a shower. I don't know if this is the best hotel in the area or not, but I was expecting something more with the shower. We were a little bummed to be kicked out of the pool area by the staff at 7:00 or 8:00 pm on one evening. We weren't even there to swim; we just wanted to enjoy the nice weather and views and there was still plenty of daylight, but that was a no go for us. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. We encountered several excellent staff members, but I also encountered one that wanted to charge me $2.00 for a bottle of water. As a Bonvoy member with status I was a bit shocked they wanted to overcharge me for water. Many of the hotels offer a bottle of water for free when asked. Overall the stay was decent, and the staff were mostly friendly and super helpful, but the property could use an update in my opinion.
