Sheraton Sioux Falls Hotel & Convention Center

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We were traveling with our dog, which is always stressful, but the team at the Sheraton made it seamless. Upon check in, Elijah noticed we had him and offered us a dog bed to help make him feel more comfortable. He also asked our room location preference, which we have never been asked before at other hotels we’ve stayed at. The team was very accommodating and respectful that it made traveling with a pet so much better than we could have imagined. The Sheraton Sioux Falls will always be our preferred hotel of choice when we come through town. Hats off to the Sheraton crew and their awesome hospitality.

Our room was generously sized, we had a king room with sofa bed and had space for a travel crib (provided by the hotel!) All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. The shower had great water pressure and hotel provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash. There is a restaurant at the hotel that offers breakfast but it isn’t included in the room rate. My only complaint is there was a large gap under the door so we heard hallway noise all night, wish I brought a sound machine. We would definitely stay again!

Overall, my stay was okay, with a few highlights and a couple of areas that could use improvement. The staff was friendly and professional, and the service throughout was warm and attentive, which I really appreciated. Breakfast had good variety, and the complimentary coffee was a nice touch—exactly what you expect from a Marriott property. That said, I did notice a few details in the room that didn’t quite match Marriott’s usual standards. The bathtub had some scratches and a yellow mark, and the desk surface wasn’t as clean as it should have been. These may seem minor, but they do stand out when you’re staying with a trusted brand like Marriott.
