We stayed at the Sheraton Hotel near Heathrow before our flight, and overall it was a comfortable and convenient experience. The hotel offers a convenient airport parking facility, which made it easy for us to leave our car safely while we were away — a big plus for those with early flights or heavy luggage. The room itself was clean and well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night’s sleep. The main downside was the smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom, which was a bit unpleasant and somewhat surprising in a non-smoking hotel. This did take away from the overall experience, and hopefully it's something the hotel can address in future. Other than that, the team was helpful and welcoming, making for a convenient and restful start to our holiday.

Booked a club room which had everything we needed. Comfy bed, decent bathroom etc and very quiet at night. Great location for Heathrow. Access to the club lounge with this room which was OK. Free food between 6 and 8 pm but very limited . Beer and wine free from 5 until 8pm but again very limited choice. Free soft drinks all day. Grill bar was OK but very little seating space if you just wanted a drink. Breakfast was in the restaurant which was good. Must give a shout out to Lalldeo on the reception desk. Great customer service.

I stayed here for one week and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. The building is quite old, and the rooms are in definite need of renovation. While the room itself was spacious, everything inside felt outdated and poorly maintained. The biggest issue was cleanliness — surfaces like the phone, lamps, desk, and countertops were visibly dusty, as if the room hadn't been used or cleaned properly in a while. The most disappointing part was the air conditioning. It’s technically "on," but barely functions — at night, the room gets unbearably hot. I guess they are aware of it so they have a fan in the rooms. Although the fans they provide are also dusty and just blow warm, stale air around. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. However, several power outlets didn't work. The TV kept turning on and off by itself. Reception told me there were EU and US plug options on the desk, but none of them worked. The pool was closed during my stay (this wasn’t clearly communicated), and while the gym was usable, it was very basic. One consistently positive aspect was the staff — everyone I interacted with at reception was kind and helpful. They provided me with a power adapter, which I appreciated. On the last day, I asked to extend my stay by a couple of hours before my 6 PM flight — note that there’s a £12-per-hour charge for late checkout. Overall this hotel is in serious need of maintenance and renovation if it wants to live up to Marriott’s standards. For now, it feels overpriced and not good value for money. I wouldn’t stay here again until those issues are addressed.
