Convenient, clean and affordable. Shuttles run as promised to and from the airport. The breakfast was always enjoyable. The rooms are quite and have the basic necessities for a traveler. My only suggestion is a better system for blocking window light, it gets light early in Moscow during the summer.
We stayed there only 1 night but so many things happened during our stay. WiFi was super slow and unable to connect if you are in the room. Room wasn’t neat. There were yellow stains on toilet bowl and even on the switch which is gross. We went down to have breakfast. I know this is not involved with the hotel but I like to share. My boyfriend went to get some drinks at water cooler. There’s one Russian lady bumped into his hand that was holding a glass with full of juice and of course..it was spilled on his hand. Luckily it wasn’t hot water!! That lady looked at him but didn’t say sorry. Lets me assume that some people here don’t have manners at all. I asked Russian people that is it normal if someone bumps into you and doesn’t even say sorry? She said it’s not normal. They speak ‘sorry’ too. So I quit sure that she has no manners. I had unsatisfactory experience this time. I won’t choose and recommend someone to stay here.
Avoid Anastasia at the reception as she is incompetent and likely to ignore your requests, could be only when she communicates in English, though. Also CrocusExpo shuttle is not an easy thing to book. I requested that when I checked in with her and it appears she totally ignored it and when I came to reception in the morning, noone knew about it. Victoria and I believe her line manager were the ones tried communicating that in the morning. They had definitely the nice attitude about it. The cleaning service woke me up at 8 am on Sunday morning. It was not welcome when I arrived late from airport and went to bed at 3:30 am in the morning. The breakfast is decent. Rice dish served for breakfast was nice. The rooms are clean but her attitude made sure I couldn't give more than 1 star.
