Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas

Lovely resort with great views, restaurants & shops nearby, hot tubs, walking/bicycle trails, gondola rides to the top of the mountains. Our room had a kitchenette with microwave, 2 burner electric stove, dishwasher, fridge and accessories needed. One downside was the low water pressure in the shower. Breakfast options on site not that great in my opinion. However, there are restaurants in the area or downtown ( a few minutes drive).

WHY YOU WON’T GET A BETTER ROOM Our third stay, and third time asking for a better room to which we got a no. Why? Manager says 85% of the hotel is owner occupied and peak months (August, September, ski season) are then owner occupied. The hotel sells out so if you are a normal guest, you’ll get what’s left which is usually not great. Usually overlooking the garage, parking lot or HAVAC monster. Good service, not always great rooms. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Room was not ready until after 4 and so they graciously extended our checkout time to 10:30 bc of my gold status- yeah We tried to call the front desk to see if I room was ready at 2 and tried calling multiple times including the local 970 - number but kept getting an ai assistant. No option to talk w anyone. Awful! So we drove all way to hotel to find out our room was not available Great view of the Hvac. I’m sure ppl love sitting on the lovely patio and staring at the roof. This was a 2 bdrm 2 bath villa w a mtn view and nicely appointed but no hot water for shower. Warm but not hot.
