Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel and Conference Centre

Although this hotel is more suitable for business/conferences/banquets, I still give it an overall 4.5+ stars. The club floor I stayed in was really peaceful. I tried amenities including the gym and swimming pool and both were clean and above average. The pool can be viewed from the rooms windows from higher floors (which may be creepy). The reception staff both daytime and nighttime were helpful. The TV includes Netflix directly on the remote too. A bartender Marco at the lobby Olio Grill was friendly and made good cocktails. The free shuttle service to/from YYZ airport is very appreciated. 👎🏻: Couldn’t adjust the room‘s thermostat. Distance/commute into either Mississauga or downtown Toronto is at least 20 mins one-way (or 1 hour+ via UP Express or TTC). The surrounding restaurants like CHOP steakhouse close before midnight so late-night (after midnight) dining options nearby are limited.

Clean rooms. AC worked very well in the room. Pool room was hot, but it was a 40 degree day, so to be expected. Otherwise pool is very deep and great for swimming. Got the buffet breakfast the next morning and had a great selection of all the usual breakfast options as well as muffins, bagels and fruit. Friendly staff in the restaurant and hotel. Something to note, but you can watch the planes fly over from the pool room as they land. They fly quite low and very frequently, so something fun for kids to watch.

Sheraton Hotel certainly knows how to please the tastebuds! The registration staff were well-educated, experienced, and genuinely welcoming—they truly made me feel appreciated as a guest. My stay overall was superb. The only drawback was housekeeping knocking on my door to ask what time I was checking out. That moment slightly disrupted an otherwise flawless experience. A bit more coordination there would go a long way. Nonetheless, I would definitely return. Great service and great hospitality!
