Overall this hotel was very nice. The decor was beautiful and the front desk people were very helpful! The pool and hot tub were obviously well cleaned and looked after. They also had a gorgeous outdoor area. The rooms were clean and pretty updated. My only beef was the kitchen staff. We ate here many times because we didn't have a rental car and almost every time the experience was tedious! It took a minimum of 30-45 minutes between every step of the way! From drinks to ordering to check. It took forever and they were rude! Even when we were the only people there! Twice someone from the front desk had to be our server because the real one was nowhere to be found! The food was good too but the awful service became annoying. This would be a 5 star review if the kitchen staff actually did their jobs. So just beware. The hotel shuttle would be more than happy to take you to a restaurant outside of the hotel.
We drove about 9 hours to this hotel from down south and arrived 3 hours after check in. Our room still was not ready! The front desk person was rude to me, not apologetic at all and when I asked what time the rooms were supposed to be ready she said they were working on it. We have 2 little kids and another person in our party had a dog and we had no place to go with everyone. Again, this was 3 hours after check in. Very poor customer service at this hotel. The place itself is nice and we were excited to stay there, but we had 3 rooms and 2 weren’t ready yet. One took another hour to be ready and the staff couldn’t care less. When the last room was finally ready the key didn’t work. We went back down for a fourth time and the front desk person was busy signing for Chinese food delivery while a long line of guests waited to check in. Do better Sheraton. Hire better staff. The hotel seems to be extremely mismanaged. Unfortunately I can’t recommend it with the poor attitudes and disengaged staff.
Love the rooms and the pool, waitress at the restaurant was nice. But the morning breakfast was trash. The food was horrible. I love this hotel, but since new management took over they have down graded the restaurant. I was so disappointed about the food it influenced how I felt about my visit.I hope they make improvements in this area. Some of the staff is unfriendly also. I got married here and it was great, but since 2017, the hotel has been going down hill. I hope management see this and make changes, because me and my wife love this place. Thanks.
