I have never written any reviews for any hotels, but I must share my experience this time. I took my USA students to visit Wuxi, China. One of my students left his wallet in the room after checking out. When the hotel informed our tour guide, we were in Shanghai already. Soon, the hotel figured out the most efficient way to send the wallet and money to our Shanghai hotel. Many thanks to the honest cleaning lady and professional & friendly staff member. We really appreciate their service. This was my 2nd time staying there. The room was very clean and nice. The buffet breakfast was awesome! We visited Nanchang Street at night and all had a great time staying in Wuxi.
Room air conditioning really didn’t work… hot room during rainy season with super high humidity. Breakfast is awful and way overpriced. Old hotel and it shows. It is next to a shopping center so that’s nice. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. We only booked because it was close to family.
There was a bad smell in the corridor. The air conditioner did not work properly, there was a problem with temperature.
