Had a brilliant time few days here getting sucked into the leisurely pace to life that makes Varkala so appealing. Excellent location with the bustling cliffs of Varkala in easy reach, with the more peaceful Odayam Beach on your doorstep. The hospitality of Jukaj and the rest of the crew is what will make your experience at this homestay, their kindness and friendliness is unrivalled!

For the first time in my life I was forced to check out in half hour with my family from a 'resort' In one because of the rude behaviour and disdainful language from hospitality. There was no concern at all for our well being and comfort. Service was horrible. In one room no bedsheets, pillows or proper toiletries, and the kitchen was extremely unkempt, being used for a long time by someone else and smelt spoiled. The surroundings of the property were ill maintained with maisonry heaps and garbage dumps all around and there was no parking space and hence had to walk with luggages quite a distance. Worst of all complementary breakfast would be served only by 9:15 strictly...Alas all these were thrust upon as part of their unshakeble 'policy'. Notwithstanding, the service boy was really nice and hospitable unlike the managers. Strongly advice that guests may choose this place at their own risk.

Very bad experience. We were assured two bedrooms and a kitchen for a family of four. There was one bed room and a room with two diwans, no pillows or bed sheets. And the kitchen was dirty and used by somebody. They didn't even bother to clean it
