If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Udaipur, Mid City is a perfect choice. Heritage property with good food and a lake. The rooms are quite old designed but that's they way its designed. The birds around can sometimes make it difficult to sleep at night. Pool is too small for any activity. Takes an hour to reach from airport and no walkable shop or market is there.
Very bad experience with rooms and service. The room i was given had broken hot water heater. After multiple calls the repair was done for temporary fix in an evening and broken again. Morning i had to take cold showers and had to spend hours instead of enjoying Udaipur sites.
