Shilla Stay Yeosu Expo Station

In A Nutshell: -The Shilla Stay in Yeosu was very comfortable. -I enjoyed the quiet room & soft bed. -Each bed has 4 pillows which is great. -I liked how the lobby was seperated on the 6th floor. -The washing machines & dryers were really nice to have available to use. -The location was very convienient to many parts of Yeosu. -The GS25 convenience store next door was perfect in case you needed drinks, snacks, alcohol or other things you need for travel. Overall, I really enjoyed the big rooms & soft bed.

Mixed feelings about this hotel which has potential to be nice quality. I booked 2 rooms for us and our kids but felt our room a little small so upgraded to a grand suite which was better though more expensive of course. The breakfast buffet was good as was wifi. The staff themselves were lovely however the hotel has bizarre strict policies causing headaches for their guests. We arrived for check in at 2.30pm but the lobby already crowded and found there was a number ticket system in operation for check in - we were number 47!. Worse the staff stood doing nothing behind the desks until they decided to open a few minutes before 3.00pm - you can imagine our wait and frustration. The main reason we booked here was to use the swimming pool - however was told it was only open for 3 sessions each day with closures in between for an hour or 2. I was not even allowed to sit outside and relax whilst the chairs were empty!! Just bizarre and so disappointed in this. More than 1 session was also at extra charge. I wouldn't return for these reasons as the hotel needs to up standards to international levels.

I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. There was excessive noise throughout the night coming from other guests—yelling, loud music, and what sounded like a party going on well into the early morning hours. Despite multiple complaints (not just from me), the hotel staff acknowledged the issue but took no real action. The manager seemed completely unable—or unwilling—to control the situation with the noisy and clearly intoxicated guests. To make matters worse, no compensation was offered, and I had to request a room change myself, which should’ve been proactively handled given the circumstances. The lack of accountability and follow-through from the hotel was unacceptable. If you’re looking for a restful night, I’d suggest staying elsewhere.
