Shinnabhura Historic Boutique hotel

Stunning hotel, the decor is excellent, the entrance hall and particularly upper foyer are fascinating to look around. Large room, very well presented in a rustic, traditional style - lots of space, clean and a very comfy super king bed. Not much of a view from our room but didn't concern us. We ate at the on site restaurant in the evening, all 5 dishes we had were delicious and I would recommend visiting it. I will certainly look to stay here again when I am next travelling this way, highly recommended.

Good room with a bathtub. The bed was nice, comfortable, and the surroundings were unique. However, there were quite a few pigeons around, so there were also a lot of bird droppings. The pool looked nice, but I was hesitant to swim because of the droppings. Other than that, it was an okay stay.

This is not a 4 star standard hotel for sure. The furnature is dated and has the basic feel. No safety deposit box. Aircon central and weak. The pool is tiny and some guests monopolize it for themselves without any consideration of others. The location far from the city. And loud music blasting until midnight. When called reception suggested to move me to another room - at 10.30 pm. Would not stay again and do not recommend.
