A traditional hotel right on the water, this place offers great views and a relaxing environment. It was fun choosing our own yukata. I found the beds comfortable and the rooms decorated beautifully. Guests can reserve the private baths in the morning. Their baths are what I feel are the main attraction as they use saltwater. It left my skin feeling extra soft through the day. I also highly recommend the public bath as it has better views of the ocean from the second floor. Also included with our stay was a traditional breakfast. It was fun trying all of the dishes.

A wonderful Ryokan by the sea. Had a sea view room on the second floor for three nights, was very nice and peaceful. The Ryokan itself has an amazing restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner (book dinner ahead of time if you want dinner the night you arrive). The first dinners are local food that is in season, and was some of the best we had on our vacation. The beef set menu was especially great. Take advantage of the massage and spa as well for the full relaxation treatment :) The staff are accommodating and very friendly, and made our stay very memorable. Worth the detour.

What a stunning place-very pretty, good food, great hot baths. Were made to feel very welcome and they were very well organized. Free alcohol in the saloon was a wonerful surprise. I only wish that there was more information regarding the complimentary robes they provide. Being from australia and unable to speak japanese we werent sure what to do with them, but once we found out, we enjoyed wearing them around the hotel. They also have fresh lilly's in the foyer and it provides the hotel with the most beautiful aroma. A hidden gem well out of the hustle and bustle of the cities.
