We had a very excellent stay there, nice food, hot spring, everything was perfect. I will visit there again. By the way, the local strawberry was awesome, we had a great strawberry party in the hotel.
The panoramic view of Niigata and the mountains are so therapeutic and beautiful. The room for 5 pax is huge too. What I love about this place is their lobby which is luxuriously huge as if I stepped into a rich residence. If you want an Instagrammable ryokan to stay, I highly recommend this place as the service is OUTSTANDING and the experience is one of a kind.
This was our first time staying at this hotel. The facility was huge, beautiful and kept clean. There were many wonderful things about it, but the hot spring facilities were the best. Tsukioka Onsen is a hot spring with excellent spring quality, and the facilities at this hotel were designed to allow guests to fully enjoy the hot spring. However, the buffet-style breakfast was not much different from that of a regular hotel (although it was delicious, of course), which was a bit disappointing considering the grandeur of the hotel and hot spring facilities. Overall, it was a wonderful hotel, and a hot spring accommodation that we would recommend to people from overseas.
